A few months ago I noticed a book at my local bookstore I hadn't seen before - 1001 Boooks You Must Read Before You Die". I was an Lit major at University so I've had a passion for literature for years and figured I would have read many of the 1001 books listed. Turns out I haven't! The majority of the books I've read were written between 1800 - 1940 so I have sadly neglected a number of centuries and apparently missed out on a few hundred books I should read.
Currently my favourite authors are DH Lawrence and John Irving, we'll see if that changes.
I will review three books in a row from each century, working backwards.
